Hiding Away ((Open to all))

Kumotta felt rather than saw the next missile graze by her wings feathers, and she resisted the urge to let out a caw of anger and kill this stupid hunter. It was bad enough she had to deal with the fact that she hasn't found another griffin in months, but now hunters seemed to be attacking her whenever she was even just watching a human village. She didn't understand it! Why couldn't they leave her alone? All she wanted was peace and quiet, and every once in a while a drop or two of news from a human town. Was that too hard to ask?

Splinters of wood fell behind her as she landed midflight on a tree trunk, digging in deep with her talons and back claws. She started climbing up, looking for refugee in an abandoned best she knew was up there. Another missile flew by, this time by her task, her head instinctively ducking down to avoid it. "Go away!" she growled, reaching the best and climbing in, folding her whole body close to wait out until the hunter grew bored and left, as always.
